Born in Ireland, 26-year-old Aussie has been playing in Australia for several years barring a short stint in South Korean club FC Anyang. He started his professional career with NPL NSW club Sutherland Sharks FC in 2013 and went on to play for Bonnyrigg White Eagles the season after. With Eagles, he featured in 43 matches in 2014-15. He gained prominence when he signed for A-league club Wellington Phoenix in 2015. Alongside their first team, he also appeared for their reserves side in several matches. His stint with Wellington Phoenix ended when he suffered a season-ending injury in March 2019. After a very short time in K League 2, he returned to Australia to sign for a year with A-league side Central Coast Mariners. During his time in Wellington, he was named Player's player of the club in 2017-18. He was a teammate of last year's ISL top scorer Roy Krishna in Wellington.

After a race with rivals Kerala Blasters to get Dylan's signature NorthEast United emerged victorious and roped in the 26-year-old. His Pace and Physicality would be a welcome addition to Gerard Nus' squad. Along with Belgian Center back Benjamin Lambot, Fox will make a formidable duo at the back for NEUFC. Highlander Brigade wishes Dylan all the luck and welcomes him to the NorthEast of India.
