OFF-SEASON ACTIVITIES
During the breaks after the end of the seasons, we try to keep our members and followers engaged in our pursuit of keeping their enthusiasm intact. So we organise different offseason activities such as football tournaments, online gaming events, etc. Over the years this has been one of our integral events receiving great responses from the people.
FIFA 18 GAMING TOURNAMENT
In May 2018, We organised an online FIFA 18 gaming tournament, The Ultimate Gaming Showdown, which drew a huge crowd. Some of the participants even traveling from long distances just for the event.
FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
In August 2018, we organised a two-day football tournament (8-a-side) in collaboration with the Assam Jogging Association in Guwahati, with prizes worth 30000 INR for the winning. Teams from as far as Coochbehar also took part in the competition. Rukmini Gaon FC won the title.
PES 19 MOBILE TOURNAMENT
The following year in June 2019, we organised the first HB PES mobile Tournament sponsored by IFTWC as a media partner, an online community for Indian Football fans. It saw even greater success with participants from not just Assam but from all over the Country giving thumbs up to the tournament. Many such events are in the pipeline this year as well.
